Circles are better than rows
Small groups are an important part of life at FBC. We believe that growth happens best in smaller group environments. They also provide us with a place to belong and to be supported. There are three ways in which you can get involved in group life.
A Connect Group is made up of eight to twelve people. Groups meet regularly for one year or more to support and encourage each other and to pursue spiritual growth. Each group is unique and explores a mixture of different topics. Some groups use discussion questions to delve deeper into the current series we are exploring on a Sunday morning.
A Short-Term Group meets weekly for six to eight weeks. You’ll get a taste of community while exploring specific topics like the basis of faith, prayer, marriage, parenting etc. Short Term groups are a good place to start for people who want to find out what a Connect Group is like.
A 3 is very small group of just 3 people. They provide support, challenge and encouragement as you seek to develop in your relationship with Jesus. 3's are organic in nature, we don't programme them or place people into a 3, or though we can help match people. We do provide resources and materials to help keep your 3 fresh.
